Welcome to the
Global Business Hall of Fame,
presented by JA Worldwide
The Global Business Hall of Fame, presented by JA Worldwide, is a virtual exhibit that features top entrepreneurs and business leaders spanning the last two centuries. From the inventor of blue jeans to the co-founder of one of the world’s leading biotech companies, young people will find a diverse set of influencers to kindle their entrepreneurial spirit.
From 1975 to 2009, the Business Hall of Fame inducted 247 celebrated laureates. Some were founders of successful companies. Others were CEOs, industry pioneers, or publishers. Each demonstrated a commitment to their communities, both locally and globally.
Inspiring Youth Since 1975
The JA Global Business Hall of Fame voting jury is a virtual who’s who of today’s business leaders. Invited members include the JA Worldwide Board of Governors, the JA Global Council, the JA Member Council, the JA University Chancellors, Global CSR and philanthropy leaders, Board Chairs of JA countries and areas, and JA alumni.
The Voting Jury
The nomination process is designed to engage diverse stakeholders from around the world. Nominees will be vetted throughout the process by two committees and the final voting jury. The methodology and process for Global Business Hall of Fame nominees has been established with support from PwC, which will partner with JA Worldwide to ensure protocols are followed in the selection of laureates.
